The Site -- Konya Karahöyük

Konya Karahöyük locates 8 km southwest of the modern city center of Konya (Türkiye). The mound rises approximately 19 meters above the plain level and expands ca. 33 hectares. Considering the lower settlement expansion of the mound, moderate estimates suggest a settlement complex of almost 100 hectares. According to its size, the site is among the biggest archaeological settlements in central Anatolia.
